The Final Meeting in Polatli (June 03-04,2013)
The last meeting of the Project was held at the teachers’ house inPolatli.
The studies and the Project results which were done during the two years period were discussed. The positive results of the Project works were admitted by the members of our partner and our local participants. Especially the positive effects of the Project on the parents and the students were emphasized.
The questionnaires which were implemented as a pre-test were implemented again as a post-test on teachers, students and parents. The results of these were shared and compared with the results of the pre-test.
One another discussion was about the final report. The parts which includes all the participants of the partnership discussed and the subjects which have to be included in the parts agreed.
The dissemination activities after the end of the Project was other important subject we had discussed at the meeting.
Members of the partnership all agreed to work on similar or different kinds of projects.
We visited PolatliSpecial Education Training Center. Our visitors had chance to get information about the fusion education again and observe the studies there.
Our visitors had traditional Turkish cuisine at lunch and dinner.
On the second day of our program, we visited our pilot school (InkilapIlkogretimOkulu). Our visitors were hosted by the teachers, parents, students and the directors of the school. The difficulties our parents face in fusion education and the solutions they find were discussed.
